We say farewell to long-time Canadian Blend member Iamgazel in our latest set of relegations 😭 Iamgazel had been with CB since its inception and was our highest capped player (besides me) participating in over 250 LvL tournaments. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our Canadian Blend members! It's been a cracking finish to 2018, wrapping up FIFA Mobile 18 and beginning the new Season 19. Here's a look back at the last year of Canadian Blend titles... The top 5 cities that our blog is visited from include Burnaby, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Aurora. This season (14 for us) we've really seen the league start to reach its potential. Congrat's to GuoAn for snapping up their 2nd consecutive Champions League title and our only two so far in FIFA Mobile 19! That trophy puts GuoAn above former member jeff_69 in our all-time CL winners list . We're four LvL's in to our 13th Canadian Blend season since switching to the new 10-LvL per season format. We ran 82 tournaments prior to that change. Formerly titled Bell City (after my hometown), Canadian Blend is now going through its 3rd season of FIFA Mobile. Keep checking back for updates to this blog and I always welcome your comments and suggestions on the league and table. I'm setting our minimum OVR to 82 for LvL's, so if you're below this please improve your squad to stay in the league. 5 LvL's down and 5 to go in our latest season of Canadian Blend. I'm managing to stay on top of the table for now with JuventusFC right on my heels. Walrus is well-positioned in 3rd place ahead of father/son duo axl and louk to round off our top 5 at the moment. We have 3 strong contenders for relegation in the inactive lea_juin, jimmy and GanjaGod who will need to get some goals in order to move ahead of the slow-to-start MANCITY and exam-ridden Sumit. FIFA Mobile 19 has begun and Canadian Blend is back at it! After 2 LvL's we've jumped from 56,000th to 26,000th! Not a bad start! Check out the Season Eleven table here . How is everyone liking the new game? Pro's & con's, right?

Season Nine has wrapped up and Marcos has claimed his very first season title! Hard to believe for a 144 OVR squad, right? Congrat's Marcos! 🏆 With the new FIFA Mobile platform scheduled to arrive November 7th, it looks like we should be able to squeeze in one last season before I hang up my league administrator boots. Season Ten will therefore be referred to as Season X: The Last Season. Relegation has claimed JalenJackson, whip and newcomer FUTBOLLERSFC. Well, FIFA Mobile 19 is set for launch on November 7th. I've managed to get in as a beta tester but haven't had a chance to play with it much. If I do I'll get a post up here about my experience. Anyone else beta testing? We're halfway through Season Nine of Canadian Blend and I'm hoping we can squeeze in a Season Ten before FIFA Mobile 18 wraps up. However, I'm sad to say that I will not be maintaining Canadian Blend through to the next version of the game. As fun as it's been, the administration of the table, blog and league has used up quite a bit of my free time and as you all know it takes a good chunk of time each day just to be a competitive player in the first place. I do plan on playing the next version, just without the added responsibility of a league. My wife and I are actually in the midst of purchasing an existing business which no doubt will require much of our spare time. Should anyone be interested in taking over the blog and continuing t...
