Canadian Blend - FIFA Mobile League

Congrat's to axl and Canucklehead on becoming Administrators of Canadian Blend for the start of the new season. These guys will be able to start new tournaments (if I'm slacking), accept new members and I believe a few other tasks within the league. axl has been with Canadian Blend since 2018 and has no doubt earned OG status in the league. Canucklehead joined the Blend last season and is proving to be our top player having already secured top spot in our 1st league championship. Here's to a smashing season ahead. Hey folks, Welcome to Canadian Blend! 🍁 We're a competitive FIFA Mobile league currently in its 5th season and based out of Southern Ontario. We play tournaments every day and require active players. League Rules: All players must play all 3 of their turns in every tournament, regardless of the score . Yes, even if we're losing 1,000 to 1, I expect everyone to play their turns. It has been argued in multiple game forums that the # of goals scored affects your league ranking even in a loss. Therefore, all turns must be played, every time. If you miss turns, you will either be dropped from the league or benched until you are confirmed active. You must play an opponent of a similar ranking within their league. If you're the 3rd best player in our league, you should play the 3rd best player in the opposing league. If you're our worst player, you can play the opposing league's worst player. This gives equal opportunity and the best playing experience to all players. I...

Canadian Blend has returned for the 5th season of FIFA Mobile! Simply search out our league name and apply! As always, we're looking for daily active players who speak either English or French. We've been able to crack the top 1,000 leagues worldwide in previous seasons and with the new regional divisions who knows how high we'll get this year! Looking forward to it! ⚽ Skyler Danes - League Owner/Admin

Here it is... Hello , Thank you for contacting EA help. My name is Himachal and I would assist you with your FIFA Mobile issue today. I hope you are doing well. I have reviewed your email and came to know that your league is not able to participate due to stuck at matchmaking. I can feel the disappointment caused due to this issue. You do not need to worry, I'll surely do my best to help you with it. Please note, we have been receiving similar kind of contacts from other players as well. Our developers are working hard to fix the problem in timely manner. We request some time to get the issue fixed. We greatly appreciate your patience until we get this one sorted. What I ...

So here goes... It would seem as though one of our member accounts was affected by the issues at EA ( see here ). As a result we couldn't play any LvL's. After 3 days of no resolution from EA, we decided to take the last resort approach which was to purge everyone from the league, including the corrupt account, and then only let the active players back in. Sounded good right? Well, I got down to purging everyone but me and the ghost account and couldn't remove them. App crashed every time. Okay, I'll just abandon the league myself... Nope, can't do that either because you're the owner. Fine, I'll transfer ownership to the ghost account... Nope, can't do that either. App crashes. So there I was. Stuck in my own league with a ghost. Spurs mate Gareth and I devised a plan to add a secondary beta account to the league and then give that account ownership. It worked, we're both out of the corrupt league and starting from the bottom with Canadian Blend II....

Well folks, day three of not being able to start an LvL and so we've joined up with the #No$4Bugs movement which essentially is a group of players and leagues who have been holding back their spending while urging the developers of FIFA Mobile to improve the game and increase transparency. It was big about a year ago and actually seemed to bring forward some changes. I've been reaching out to EA on twitter (their main line of communication) but have been receiving nothing but scripted responses. They have acknowledged issues with the game and say that they are investigating and trying to restore affected accounts. Worst part is that there are unaffected leagues still playing and so our ranking keeps dropping day by day. Fingers crossed that we can not only get this resolved but also get the reimbursements for missed tournaments (and not give unaffected leagues the same reimbursements).

Congratulations Canadian Blenders! 🏆 We've reached our highest rank ever in our 4-season history at 555th. We've briefly dipped into the top 1,000 each season but weren't able to maintain it. Let's see if we can hang around for a while!

Here are the free objective rewards I received despite not completing any of the objectives! Looks like I'm not the only one: https://www.reddit.com/r/FUTMobile/comments/jx8y2j/other_a_gift_for_me_i_think/ Note: "England Chem Group" I think means any English players. Feel free to send me any glitches, screenshots, tips or suggestions and I'd be happy to post them!

Back with a quick update on the league! 📢 We've dropped our 3 least active players, rhett3, spyder and radzisz. They had missed at least 9 of their last 18 turns. Our next 2 least active players over the last 6 LvLs (League vs League) are axl and kcon77. Looks like it's going to be a tough LvL against a higher ranked league. Let's see if we can get all of our turns in. Sometimes that's the difference. Shout out to Rapheeki on winning our last 3 league championship tournaments! Thank you to all league members for your plays and companionship. Long Live Canadian Blend! 🍁

Hey folks, We've had a few discussions over the years regarding average league OVR and how it relates to LvL matchmaking (and the league's general success). Although EA hasn't ever really come out to reveal how they match you up to opposing leagues, it's fairly obvious that it works in a similar fashion to the VS Attack matchmaking system. Based on your leagues average OVR and the number of players you're entering, the game matches you with a similar ranked league playing the same number of players. Yes, there is often a lot of fluctuation, as one would expect depending on how many other leagues are searching for an opponent at that time. Sometimes we get a super tough high-ranked opponent, other times we get some noobs and we wipe the floor with them. Though I must say over several seasons I've noticed that the better your league gets, the stronger the opponents you're matched with. Makes sense. It's not random. So, if we were to remove our lowest OVR...

If you came here because you've suddenly found yourself without a league, let me be very Canadian and say SORRY! Truth is I probably analyzed the last 6 LvLs (League vs League tournaments) and found that you have missed more turns than you've played. It's that or your OVR and/or CHM simply wasn't keeping pace with the league. If you're still in the league and need a few days off for whatever reason, just let me know and I'll keep you out. That way your missed turns won't count against you. If you'd like to come back to Canadian Blend feel free to reapply (as long as you meet the min. requirements at the time) and we'll be happy to take you back granted you stay active and keep the OVR/CHM numbers up. Please don't reapply immediately following being dropped as we will be filling your spot with a new team in hopes they will perform better. Eventually we'll drop a few more members and you can reapply at that time. Thank you all for your co...

Just played a H2H match against a team with an invisible player! Seemed to be a midfielder. The ball would move by itself when he had it. Took a couple screenshots and wish I'd have captured some video.

Happy Canada Day! For those who were interested, This is my league table for the last three tournaments ... as far as Excel goes I'm very basic and I don't know how to use most formulas nor do I know how to input the spreadsheet as a Google Doc so for now a screenshot should do. The table is pretty self-explanatory, I pretty much laid it out as if it were a Premier League table with 24 teams, obviously with 1-4 going to the Champions League and 5-6 to the Europa League even though neither of these exist in FIFA Mobile. I'll post updates when I have them!

Hey Blenders! 🌀 Long time, no blog! As I had mentioned previously, life has been super busy with 3 jobs including our own business here in Southern Ontario. Just finding the time to keep up on Daily Quests and the league. Not much time leftover for the blog or the exclusive table for that matter. My request for a co-admin still stands if anyone is interested in reviving either of the two, or both! 🙏🙏 Congrat's JuventusFC on 5 league championship titles in a row! We have another Canadian Blend legend to etch into the digital books. Well done. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 We've recently hit 1,888th place which is our best of the season and I'm hoping we can better last year's top 1,000 peak (looking for the exact rank we hit in the last version - it was in the 900's anyway).🠝 Dropped gnna from the league for inactivity and will continue to do so as I see players drop off. I'll try to get a post or two in moving forward. As always, feel free to post your com...

We say farewell to long-time Canadian Blend member Iamgazel in our latest set of relegations 😭 Iamgazel had been with CB since its inception and was our highest capped player (besides me) participating in over 250 LvL tournaments. We wish Iamgazel all the best and of course they're invited to rejoin the league should their participation improve. Thanks Iamgazel! ⚽

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our Canadian Blend members! It's been a cracking finish to 2018, wrapping up FIFA Mobile 18 and beginning the new Season 19. Here's a look back at the last year of Canadian Blend titles... Most League Titles jeff_69 🏆🏆🏆🏆 GuoAn 🏆🏆🏆 Sky 🏆🏆🏆 Sherv 🏆 Marcos 🏆 Sumit 🏆 maillet12345 🏆 Most Champions League Titles Marcos 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 GuoAn 🏆🏆🏆 jeff_69 🏆🏆 Looking at our blog analytics, we've had 229 unique users visit our site 1,300 times since launch in April. 183 of those users are Canadian, 13 Germans and 12 from the US. The top 5 cities that our blog is visited from include Burnaby, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Aurora. This season (14 for us) we've really seen the league start to reach its potential. One of our relegated squads (mumby) played 5 of their 10 matches yet were still dropped. Historically, a 50% play ratio would put you well within safety in this league.  Re...

Congrat's to GuoAn for snapping up their 2nd consecutive Champions League title and our only two so far in FIFA Mobile 19! That trophy puts GuoAn above former member jeff_69 in our all-time CL winners list . We're four LvL's in to our 13th Canadian Blend season since switching to the new 10-LvL per season format. We ran 82 tournaments prior to that change. Formerly titled Bell City (after my hometown), Canadian Blend is now going through its 3rd season of FIFA Mobile. Keep checking back for updates to this blog and I always welcome your comments and suggestions on the league and table. I'm setting our minimum OVR to 82 for LvL's, so if you're below this please improve your squad to stay in the league. This threshold will be raised to 83 pretty soon considering the progression of our members thus far. Thanks for your participation and let's continue climbing up the ranks! Skyler Danes League Admin

5 LvL's down and 5 to go in our latest season of Canadian Blend. I'm managing to stay on top of the table for now with JuventusFC right on my heels. Walrus is well-positioned in 3rd place ahead of father/son duo axl and louk to round off our top 5 at the moment. We have 3 strong contenders for relegation in the inactive lea_juin, jimmy and GanjaGod who will need to get some goals in order to move ahead of the slow-to-start MANCITY and exam-ridden Sumit. Congrat's to GuoAn on winning our 1st Champions League tournament of the new FIFA Mobile season! 🏆 Shout outs to Dylan for hitting 50 caps and to e_madman76 who is currently playing in their 150th LvL with us. League applications are few and far between, though there's nothing wrong with having less than 32 members if it means a stronger league. Good luck for the rest of Season 12! - Sky GuoAn claims our first Champions League title of FIFA Mobile 19! (v. Marcos)

FIFA Mobile 19 has begun and Canadian Blend is back at it! After 2 LvL's we've jumped from 56,000th to 26,000th! Not a bad start! Check out the Season Eleven table here . How is everyone liking the new game? Pro's & con's, right?
